Inca Trail Tour to Machu Picchu 2D/1N with a Private Guide

Your adventure begins early in the morning picking up from your accommodation in Cusco. From there, we will head to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train and enjoy a scenic journey through the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will disembark at km 104 (Chachabamba), where we will pass the control point by presenting your original passport. From here, we begin our hike along the Inca Trail.

Along the way, we will explore the archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna, surrounded by lush cloud forest. After a break, we continue hiking for approximately two more hours until reaching the Sun Gate: Intipunku, where you will enjoy your first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu.

Then, we will enter to Machu Picchu through the Guardian’s House sector, the perfect spot for iconic photos. Your guide will provide insightful information about the history and mysteries of this incredible Inca site.

Afterward, we will take a bus down to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes), where you will be taken to your accommodation.

After breakfast, you will take a bus up to Machu Picchu for a more in-depth visit.

Your expert guide will lead a 2-hour walking tour through the main sectors of the citadel, including temples, terraces, and sacred spaces, helping you understand the impressive engineering and spiritual significance of the Inca civilization.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore at your own pace, take photos, or simply enjoy the unique atmosphere.

Later, you will return by bus to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes), where you will have time to explore the town. Finally, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a private transfer to Cusco.
