Hotel Pickup
Our specialized guide will pick you up in a private vehicle directly from your hotel to begin the tour to the zoo, located in the San Miguel district of Lima. During the drive, the guide will provide an introduction to the park and what to expect from the visit.

Arrival at Parque de las Leyendas
Upon arrival, we will enter Lima’s most important zoo, Parque de las Leyendas. This zoo not only houses a great variety of animals but is also an important archaeological site, with remnants of pre-Hispanic cultures.

Start of the Tour in the Sierra Zone
We will begin our tour in the Sierra zone, where we will learn about animals native to the Peruvian Andes, such as the majestic Andean condor, llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. The guide will share details about the significance of these animals in Incan culture and their adaptation to the highlands. We will also see Andean felines, such as the puma.

Visit to the Selva Zone
Next, we will move to the Selva zone, which hosts one of the park's greatest diversities of wildlife. Here, we can observe jaguars, monkeys, macaws, tapirs, and other animals native to the Peruvian Amazon. The guide will explain the significance of jungle ecosystems, their biodiversity, and their crucial role in the environment. We will also encounter large snakes and other reptiles.

Exploration of the Costa Zone
We will then visit the Costa zone, which features species typical of Peru's coastal region, such as sea lions and Humboldt penguins. We will also see marine birds, flamingos, and turtles. This zone provides insight into the coastal ecosystem, and the guide will explain how species in this region adapt to their arid environment.

Visit to the International Zone
The tour continues to the International zone, where we will learn about animals from other parts of the world, such as lions, giraffes, elephants, and zebras. This is a perfect opportunity to compare Peru's wildlife with that of other continents and learn about their habitats and ways of life.

Return to Hotel
After the tour, we will return to your hotel in the private vehicle. The guide will ensure that your experience has been comfortable and educational and will answer any final questions you may have about Parque de las Leyendas or Lima.
